Banyoles is a city of Catalonia, in the province of Girona. Is the capital of Pla de l'Estany. Is in the north east of Spain.
Is a very good place because has got a big lake. In the park of 'La Draga' they are a grate
Neolithic settlement. Banyoles is important because in 1992 it was a central city of the JJ.OO. In the lake they make championships of rowing, canoing and triathlon.
A grate characteristic of Banyoles are 'Les Pesqueres'. They are a small houses beside the lake. They are a quiet houses and very beautiful too.
In Banyoles they make the espadrilles Castanyer. They are very comfortable!
Banyoles is about 30 minutes by Girona, and 1 hour to Barcelona.
In Banyoles are a bit of taxis, they are buses and a lot of cars and mopeds.
